Second Week of Challenge

This is the beginning of the second week of my challenge "Weekend Activities".  The Design Team looks forward to seeing what you create.  Look at the top of my sidebar for the shortcut to my challenges and you may enter as many as two entries.

Here is what the Design Tram created for inspiration.
Vicki
My image is called "Do You Want to Play?".. it is a BB Kakes images found on the Stitchy Bear Outlet site.  I think this is such a cute image.

I used the BB Kakes 'stitcher fae' image, kindly supplied by Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet, the sponsor of the challenge. I coloured this with spectrum noir pens, adding Art Institute glitter to her wings. I cut out the image using a Spellbinder marvellous squares die, brushing the edges with peacock feathers distress ink. The main background paper is an old piece of Daisy Bucket and the torn strip is from American Crafts 'amy tangerine' plus one paper pad that I recently bought with a prize voucher. The added 3D embellishments were from an Express Yourself DIY pack

This very darling digital image from digi designer BB Kakes, provided by our wonderful sponsor Stitchy Bear Digitals is both experiencing the heat of summer and is herself quite a hottie.  I kept my design simple and layered a nice die cut on complementary card stock.  I added a sun and the word that i think describes this situation to a T.  I colored the digi with pencils. I have to admit I can identify with the idea of getting overheated!  You have one more week to share your weekend activities creation -- and hopefully you are not too hot!

For the second week of  “Weekend Activities"-Stitchy Bear (BB Kakes),I made a card using an image called “Want to play” and it is so cute. I layered it on a light pink cardstock  and added some flowers, a lovely sentiment and a decorative adhesive paper tape. The effect was amazing.Have a magical week!

My image is from Stitchy Bear BB Kakes and it's called  Let's Play. Coloured with a combination of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers. I seemed to have made my image faily large, probably to be able to colour it better. I was at Wal-mart last night and couldn't resist the 6 X 6 patterned cardstock pack, not paper it was a good weight. Because there was some gray in the kpattern I decided to use it as and accent colour.along with the prink. Stop by my blog and  have a peek at the inside.
